    Tips for making this recipe

    • Don't over mix the batter: Over-mixing makes the waffles less fluffy on the inside. Make sure that you gently combine the batter with a spatula.
    • Make a batch of waffles and freeze them: This waffle recipe freezes so well! Double this recipe and freeze the waffles to have ready-to-eat waffles whenever you want.
    • Grease the waffle maker: This step is essential to prevent your waffles from sticking to the waffle maker. Brush the waffle maker with a little bit of coconut oil before you pour in the batter.
    • Don't lift the lid too early:  Waiting for your waffles to be ready to eat can seem like a long wait, especially when your kitchen starts to smell amazing! But respecting the cooking time is crucial, so the waffle doesn't break apart.
