    Ingredients for this recipe

    Sugar: We've used a combination of brown sugar and white sugar.

    Butter: Use butter at room temperature.

    Eggs: Ensure they are at room temperature.

    Baking soda: For a soft a fluffy cookie.

    How to make this recipe

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 C), and grease a 10-inch oven-proof pan or cast-iron skillet.

    Add butter and sugar into an electric mixer bowl and beat until well blended.

    Next, add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat again.

    Then, add the flour, salt, and baking soda and beat once more until well combined.

    Add the chocolate chips or chocolate chunks into the bowl and combine with a spatula.

    Transfer the cookie mixture into the prepared skillet and press into an even layer.

    Bake for 35 minutes until the edges are lightly golden brown. Allow to cool for 15 minutes and serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

    • 1 cup brown sugar (180 g)
    • ½ cup white sugar (90 g)
    • 2 eggs, at room temperature
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 2 and ½ cups all-purpose flour (180 g)
    • ½ tsp baking soda
    • 1 pinch salt
    • 1 and ½ cups chocolate chips or chocolate chunks (200 g)
