Sesame oil: To sauté. You can use other vegetable oil of your choice.
Sauce: A mix of ginger, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, and water.
Sesame seeds: To garnish.
How to make beef and broccoli stir fry
Prepare the ingredients:
Mix all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
Next, prepare the beef, season it with salt, cut the broccoli into florets, and set them aside.
Cook the broccoli:
Heat a large pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil.
When hot, add the broccoli florets and cook until crisp and tender. Then, remove from the pan to a plate.
Cook the beef:
Then, add a little more olive oil and the beef strips and stir-fry for 5 minutes or until cooked.
Add the sauce:
Next, reduce the heat to low and add the sauce mixture. Mix everything together until the sauce starts to thicken.

- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced (450 g)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds to garnish (optional)

Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- ½ cup water
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
