Avocado Chocolate Mousse

This avocado chocolate mousse is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, super smooth, and you'll only need 5 ingredients to make it.

Ingredients  

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 7 oz dark chocolate bar melted (200 g)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk at room temperature (120 ml)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions 

  1. First of all, melt the chocolate bar and set it aside.
  2. Then, add all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.
  3. Spoon into dessert bowls and store in the fridge until serving.
  4. When it's time to serve, add chocolate shavings on top and enjoy!

Notes

Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
Toppings: Feel free to add different toppings like berries, granola, whipped cream, nuts, or shredded coconut.
Food processor: We recommend using a powerful food processor for a super silky smooth chocolate mousse. You might need to scrape down the sides of the food processor every once in a while as you blend.
Ingredients at room temperature: Ensure all the ingredients are at room temperature, like the almond milk and avocados, to avoid the melted chocolate from hardening.
