Ingredients

  • ice cubes
  • 1 + 2/3 oz gin 5 cl
  • 1 oz lemon juice 3 cl
  • 0,5 oz sugar syrup 1,5 cl
  • a dash cassis liqueur
  • blackberries to garnish
  • 1 slice of lemon to garnish

Instructions

  1. First, add the gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup, and ice to a cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Then, add the flower ice cubes to a glass and strain over the cocktail mixture.
  4. Next, drizzle the crème de cassis on top, and garnish with blackberries and a slice of lemon. Enjoy!

Notes

Use bottled water to make the flower ice cubes: As mentioned above, tap water makes cloudy ice cubes. Ensure you use bottled water to achieve clear flower ice cubes.
Use freshly squeezed lemon juice: No store-bought lemon juice tastes as authentic as freshly squeezed lemon juice, which impacts the taste of your cocktail.
